Hanoi Royal Palace Hotel 2
"As we booked a so called family room to suit 3 people for 8 nights, we were surprised to be given a dreadfully small box that was both extremely cramped, restrictive and very uncomfortable. At only around 18 SqM that included two double beds, a single 1m wardrobe, a single bedside table and a small coffee table, the room was so cramped that two people could not pass each other in the space available. There was no wall shelving, no drawer space and a 2x2m shower room. We were forced to live out the suitcases for the duration of the trip. When I asked if there was a larger room that would be more suitable for three persons, all I received was a shrug of the shoulders. In other words, the reception staff really didn’t care. The breakfast was also bearly adequate and repetitive. This was our first visit to Hanoi and probably the last given this bad experience."
